Setting Targets

The setting of targets (Step 7 of the 9 Steps) is an important part of any improvement process. In order to set realistic targets some quantitative knowledge of what is actually and realistically achievable is required. This is best done with reference to your own data, existing benchmarks, case studies, guidance documents, etc.
